The Forge Adventure Park

Are you someone who is always looking for a mountain to climb? Do you love to explore and try high-thrill activities? Do you love to compete? Then you will be right at home at the Forge Adventure Park.

The Forge is a popular attraction for those visiting Lemont and Joliet. While the suburbs of Chicago are not as explorable as the Appalachian Mountains or as thrilling as an amusement park in the city, the Forge offers a small haven for those looking to raise their adrenaline.

Attractions

Here are some of the major attractions you can try when you visit the Forge. The Adventure Park has great deals for those wanting to do multiple activities in one visit!

Rock Climbing

Admission: $50 per person (reservation is required)
Year-Round

This two-hour adventure is perfect for thrill-seekers. You'll climb up rock walls, cruise down ziplines, rappel, and walk through a ropes course. Dress for the weather, but recognize that some clothing will not be allowed due to possible interference with safety equipment.

The Forge is known for these tours, so if you and your vacation group want to spend an afternoon at a thrill park, reserve your spot early!

Mountain Biking Tracks

Admission: $25 per person
Time: All Day
Bring your own Bike (there are no rentals)
Spring through Fall

Are you passionate about BMX or mountain biking? Want somewhere to go that will keep you endlessly entertained? The Forge has 5 miles of casual trails if you are looking for some cool scenery, but there are also skill tracks for the biking pros. You may be able to get a lesson with the instructors here if you're lucky!

Ice Skating

Admission: $10 per person
Time: 40 minutes
Winter

The Forge doesn't only have summer sports, but winter ones as well! You'll have a chance to carve through the ice and pirouette your way to glory. Skates are available to rent.

You are required to wear socks with rentals. As with any other activity where you are going at high speeds, make sure you are a courteous skater and try to avoid collisions. 

Tactical Laser Tag

Admission: $30 per person
Time: 40 minutes
Year-Round

The Forge Arena is the place to play laser tag with family, friends, and people you just met. You can play a series of games from Infection - Survivors to King of the Hill.

This has become a fan favorite among families, so if you have teenagers or children with you, it's an excellent attraction!

Kids Adventure Zone

Admission: $10 per child
Time: 40 minutes

This adventure area is perfect for families with young children. While most of the other activities are perfect for older children, teenagers, and adults, the kids might not have as much to do. This little course has monkey bars, ropes, and swings for youngins.

The Forge COVID Guidelines
and Policies

Vaccinated guests are able to do all activities without wearing masks. Unvaccinated guests are asked to follow CDC guidelines when it comes to social distancing and masking. The Forge aims to make its guests safe.
The Forge has a lot of value for Lockport and Lemont tourists. Whether you are a thrill-seeker, or just want to do something fun outside, you'll enjoy everything suburban Illinois has to offer.
